Food Security Week One - Home Food Production

Looking to start producing your own food at home? Our Home Food Production course is just what you need!  

Our course is designed to teach you everything you need to know about growing your own fruits and vegetables.  Our experienced instructors from the Ministry of Agriculture, Land and Fisheries, will guide you through the entire process, from choosing the right seeds to planting and harvesting your croups.  You'll learn about soil preparation, pest management and irrigation techniques that will you get the best yiels possible.

At the end of the course, participants will:

• Understand the basic requirements for plant growth

• Be able to select good seedlings

• Choose appropriate containers, mix of containers for their own home system
