Beyond competition, Quinn has worked to re-energize chess in the Borough of Arima, helping position Arimian players and students from the zone as strong prospects for national success. Trainers from across the country are increasingly recognizing the talent emerging from the borough.

The Kings and Queens Chess Club, of which Quinn is President, remains based at Arima Boys’ RC School. Through the support of Principal Mr. Navin Harry, there continues to be strong interest and growing fascination in the Borough of Arima with the connection between chess and education.

It is the Club’s hope to once again engage the Arima Borough Corporation with a view to participating in Arima Fest activities, bringing renewed passion to the Borough through the sport of chess.

Quinn is due to travel to Uzbekistan later this year to attend the 46th World Chess Olympiad 2026 with Team TTO. We extend best wishes to Quinn and the team for every success.
